I've been treating this blog like my ugleh stepbaby. I probably underestimated the time and effort I need to regularly maintain two blogs at once. Plus, since this is a food blog, I have to provide pictures, who I sometimes just get too lazy to properly edit and beautify (bah!) pictures in Photoshop (plus my laptop is old-timey so it takes aaaaageeees to load).
What made me return to this blog, you might ask?
It's because I have to share this little gem I found.

PRALINES! PRALINES!
I'm not a big fan of pralines ("it's just chocolate with fillings") but these puppies look almost too delectable to pass up. Aside from the usual pralines, you can also find green tea pralines, jasmine pralines, rice puff pralines, and WASABI pralines!!!!!! Sadly, I haven't tried any. Hey, it was my first visit! Gimme more time though.

Seriously, it's like "Tephy's Choice". It's almost IMPOSSIBUHHHL to pick only one cake from these lineup of delectabuhls. Fortunately (for my wallet), the prices here are quite steep, so I had to break my own heart by only picking one. I picked le "Dome aux Grand Marnier" (IDR 29,000 - before tax & services), to go (my lunchtime is over :( )
BEHOLD! Possibly the best chocolate cake I have ever eaten (and trust me, that's saying a lot!):

It's three layers of different oh-so soft and airy sponge cakes (I tasted hazelnut, vanilla, and... chocolate?), covered with the most divine chocolate cream, with dark chocolate glaze on top. It was sooooo yummy I had to shamelessly use my fingers to clean the chocolate cream sticking on the container crevices. Seriously, I'm sort of happy now to realize how expensive this thing is. If it's too affordable, there's a fat chance I'll be stopping by here every day and fatten myself even more. So yay?
PS: I'm angling for their chocolate mudcake next.
